I taught IELTS to students and professionals for 6 years while living and teaching in the United Arab Emirates.

While teaching 6 years in the UAE I developed my own methods and curriculum for teaching Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi speakers who were just beginning their journey into the English-speaking world!

I am a native American English speaker. My accent and dialect are Midwestern.I also have experience and materials for preparing for the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) interview and test.

I wrote my own course material (handouts and activities) for travel English while teaching 6 years in the United Arab Emirates.

I taught TOEFL preparation courses to high school students and professionals for 6 years while working in the UAE.

I spent 4 years tutoring ESL (mostly from Spanish-speaking families, but others as well) students at a community center in Carol Stream, IL, USA.

I have 6 years of experience teaching general writing skills, along with writing for IELTS and TOEFL exams. Furthermore, I have over 5 years of experience in research and writing at academic and professional levels.

I have 6 years of experience teaching speakers of other languages, including: Spanish, Arabic, French, Farsi, Filipino, and Urdu!

I have experience and materials for preparing for the CELPIP exam.
