Although not impossible, it can be quite hard and time- consuming to study IELTS on one's own. You need a professional IELTS instructor to help you. We call it a situational language. You are new in an English speaking country, and you need to go to the airport, call for help in a hotel, ask another driver where the gass station is, etc. I will apply the "Parrot Talk" technique to quickly memorise necessary phrases.

For example, you pushed your card into a cash machine, but the card didn't come out. You will only need to learn a handful of phrases to be ready for the unexpected linguistically.
