About me

Native in both English and Hebrew, I am a native Israeli, currently living in Brooklyn, New York.

I've started teaching Hebrew (as well as math) while serving in the IDF, where I specialized in teaching soldiers with learning disabilities.

I teach writing, reading and speaking simultaneously, because I believe all three are crucial skills for a proper understanding of a language. Please be aware- I do not teach these skills separately.

With a great love for the Hebrew language and a relaxed, yet thorough, teaching style (as well as a great sense of humor), I would love to help you achieve your goals!

I work with adults, teenagers and children from the age of 9 and up. I currently focus on beginners and very advanced students only (I do not take on intermediate students).

Te'ena has prior experience in teaching Hebrew and it shows. She brings a structured curriculum and she delivers it in an organized fashion. Her English is excellent and her Hebrew is fluent so she is able to convey nuances precisely and make corrections to perfect pronunciation. I highly recommend her as a language teacher.
