About me
I am a fluent English speaker. I communicate regularly with people of different backgrounds who speak different accents, and I've been teaching since 2011. Also, I am experienced in public speaking in English. My teaching skills are certified by TKT (Modules 1, 2 and 3) and IETLS Academic certificates. So far, I've done lessons with people from 13 countries (Belarus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Kazakhastan, Lithuania, Mozambique, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and the UAE) on this site.
I started teaching 1-on-1 lessons online in 2015, back before it became mainstream. I am mostly building my lessons on communicative approach. All materials of our lessons remain accessible for the student on Google drive indefinitely.
After you book a lesson, I send you a short task to assess your level and to adjust our very first lesson to your needs. The trial lesson is going to include practical assignments, training and discussion of your further goals.

We needed an IELTS Academic certificate for our daughter stating that she commands English at B2 level, to get into an international education she wanted. Tests showed that she was at B1-level. Taras warned us that upping one level normally takes several months, which we didn't have. Only when we promised to put the needed effort in, he agreed to teach her. She had lessons almost every day for 5 weeks and last weekend she passed the test. Just... Without Taras she certainly would not have made it. Taras is the best tutor I have ever met. He explains everything very logically, clearly, and accessibly, so even complex topics become much easier. In a short time, I achieved progress with him that I hadn't had in several years. He has a deep understanding of the material and is genuinely interested in the results of his students, able to break down complex topics into simple steps, provides clear examples, reinforces the material with practice, and helps identify and correct mistakes. Taras is a really attentive an well trained teacher. There’s no pressure to memorize anything, because he paints real-life scenarios, explains the origins of words, and reinforces concepts in multiple, thoughtful ways that make them naturally stick. He is able to go back into the origin of the words and concepts to make it easier to you to understand. As he is well rounded in a lot of languages he is able to make connections between Russian / English / French / German ... which makes the process much easier.Anonymous

Taras does not just teach a language , he teaches you 'how' to learn a new language as he teaches you a language. The stress of memorization is non existent in his lessons because he describes scenarios , gives insights into origins of a word, and in many different ways enforces his teachings in very skillful ways to aid my retention. When I make a mistake he seems to know why I may have thought the mistake was correct and quickly he asks me a question to often make me realize on my own why I am mistaken...Taras is a language Jedi, he puts the new language into your thoughtsMykyta
