Hi there! My name is Alexis, I'm 33 years old, and I've been helping kids from preschool to middle school with a teaching style shaped by active listening and building connections with my students.

I truly believe in Seneca's quote: "A student is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled."

I love spotting the strengths in others to help them thrive in what they pursue.

So far, I've taught over 500 hours of classes focused on the French language and its structure (basic structures and critical thinking) to develop critical minds. My methodology involves identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses to stimulate their potential and secure the more fragile areas.

I'm very pedagogical in my approach, placing a strong emphasis on trust in the learning process.

My journey as a student has helped me better understand societal and cultural issues. I've had the chance to study in Canada and travel to several countries, giving me insight into various communication codes.

Currently, I hold:

- a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Quebec

- two university diplomas in Victimology and Criminology from Paris

Additionally, I've taught tennis for a few years to both adults and children, which adds diversity to my teaching areas.
