Hi, I'm Sibel. I'm a Turkish Language and Literature teacher, and I'm happy to be a teacher. As a hobby, I enjoy traditional Turkish handicrafts, and I'm quite skilled in that area as well. I also love exploring new places and meeting new people. In short, I really enjoy both learning and teaching.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2018 along with pedagogical formation. After that, I pursued a Master's degree. I've taught at various institutions, and I also hold a certificate in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language from Ankara University.

It has been more than two months since I started taking lessons with Sibel Hanım, and I wanted to write a more up-to-date review because I can see an incredible amount of progress. I arrived in Turkey five months ago to work as a French teacher there. I came without knowing a single word of Turkish. The first three months were very difficult for me because I thought I could learn Turkish on my own. However, the language turned out to be much more challenging than I had expected: the grammar, logic, and structure are very different from my native language, and I couldn’t speak at all. Since I started taking Turkish lessons with Sibel, everything has changed. I can now form sentences in the past, present, and future tenses. I understand much more written vocabulary, and I am sometimes even surprised to understand short texts or the news. I can have small conversations with my colleagues in Turkey , which is a huge improvement for me! Of course, I still need to improve my level, but I am ready to continue working towards my goals with Sibel on my side. I honestly don’t know how to thank her enough. She is extremely positive and motivating. She pushes me to do my homework, even when I don’t really feel like it. If you want to learn with a kind, encouraging, smiling teacher who truly takes the time to explain everything you struggle with and adapts the lessons to your needs, you won’t find anyone better. Taking lessons with her was the best decision I could have made. Thank you, Sibel, and see you in the next class!

I’ve already had several lessons with Sibel, and I really enjoy them. The lessons are intensive, dynamic, and never boring. There are no awkward pauses, we always have something interesting to talk about. Sibel is a very engaging and intelligent person who clearly knows her subject well. You can feel she’s experienced and passionate about teaching. Everything is great and I highly recommend her to everyone!
