---- Update 09.11.25 ---- Still going strong – and honestly, it's gotten even better! 🚀 Make Miku Super Tutor Again! The algorithm might have demoted her from that shiny badge, but let me tell you: those stats (4.9 across the board) don't lie. She deserves that crown back! 👑 I started with her in April this year, and we've ramped up from occasional sessions to three lessons per week. Why? Because it works. Those textbooks like Marugoto that people clutch onto? Yeah, we've left those in the dust months ago – they're basically my morning newspaper now. ☕📰 What makes her different? She's precise, well-prepared, and doesn't mess around. No fluff, no wandering down rabbit holes of confusion – just proper Japanese, explained the way it should be. Her approach includes solid repetition and active participation (and let's be real: Duolingo won't teach you a language if you keep skipping the speaking and listening exercises InApp like they're ad breaks 😅). They make concepts stick way better than any boring textbook diagram ever could. From zero to somewhere between N5 and early N4 in roughly six months? She is very well prepared and manages to make me jump over my shadow and actively participate in the lesson in a friendly and nice way. ---- Update 20.06.25 ---- I'm still thrilled to have her as my mentor! 🙏 I really enjoy it – both the focused lessons, where we both want to make real progress and achieve it, and the more relaxed hours where we chat off-topic about the country, its people, and its culture (like today 🤗). I'd actually like to book more lessons per week, but I'm afraid I'm shooting myself in the foot with this positive review. 😅 After all, it'll only attract more interested parties who will then snatch the best dates away from me! 🤔 A small dilemma: Should I write an honest, enthusiastic review or strategically remain silent to preserve my chances of getting more appointments? Honesty won – it definitely deserves this recognition. 👍 So, fellow students: If you ever consider not renewing your sessions, you can be sure that I'll jump at the chance!
