Hello, my name is Sibylle, called Siby!

I`ve been teaching German Conversation for about five years now, mainly while traveling the world since the end of 2018. I enjoy reading, yoga, and dancing.

I have up to 5 years of teaching experience, mainly in German Conversation.

Since I`m from Germany and love books and films, I`ll make sure to include lots of original material. Tell me your personal interests, so I can indulge you a little bit.

I`m a licensed scientist (Humanities, M.A.), Naturopath (HP), and licensed Yoga teacher, perpetually traveling globally, working online, and managing my brand.

I`m a tutor who knows what it takes to actually become fluent in a foreign language, so book your first lesson, it only gets easier from there!

Sibylle ensures that you have an understanding of the lesson before moving on, which I appreciate. She does not push forward too quickly, allowing you time to fully absorb the meaning of what you are saying. She works with your level immediately, which gives me confidence to ask more questions. She also adapts to new needs quickly, with lessons that fit that specific need. Definitely recommmend, especially if you are a complete beginner, like myself.

Conversational German

I use original materials during class, texts, videos etc.Any proper topic is welcome! We`ll talk about topics, goals and needs during our very first lesson together.

German for beginners

I use original materials during class, the questions will naturally be much easier for beginners, and I`ll explain in English for a better understanding.Before the very first lesson, we need to take a placement test, level agreements and content will be talked about during trial lessons.

Intensive German

I use original materials in class, these vary in difficulty. We may also include the many and peculiar dialects of the German language, watch Comedians etc.

German Literature

I use original materials during class, of course I`ll also use German Literature. I`m well educated, have a Master`s degree in Humanities (Art History major) from a German university and love books myself. Furthermore I`m open to suggestions and personal interests. All of these things will be agreed upon during trial lessons.
