Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Ilaria, I was born in 1997 and grew up in northern Italy, near Pavia.

👩🏼‍🎓 I studied foreign languages and literatures at university and earned the CEDILS certification at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, which qualifies me to teach Italian to foreign students. I have taught at different school levels as well as privately for several years.

💕 I’m a cheerful and enthusiastic person, and in my lessons I always try to create a positive and stimulating atmosphere.

🌍 Foreign languages are my greatest passion: I often watch films in their original version, read a lot, and love learning new things to broaden my skills. But I also enjoy music, art, technology, nail art, makeup, and shopping 😉

👩🏼‍🏫 I have been teaching since 2018, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from all over the world, of different ages and levels, from absolute beginners (A0) up to C2.

My approach is always personalized and structured with reference to the CEFR, the European standard that defines language levels from A1 to C2. This allows you to follow a clear and effective path.

🗒️ Specifically, I:

• prepare students for official language certificates (CILS, CELI, PLIDA, B1 citizenship etc.);

• have experience with students with learning difficulties, for whom I adopt inclusive and flexible strategies;

• bring Italian news and current events into the lessons, so you always stay connected to the country and its culture;

• integrate grammar, conversation, phonetics, and Italian culture to make learning complete and engaging.
