About me

👋 Hi! My name is Jorge, and I’m a native Spanish teacher from Spain. I was born and live in Santander, in the north of the country. I’ve been fortunate to travel and live in different places such as Atlanta, London, Edinburgh, Barcelona, and Madrid, which has given me a very open and multicultural perspective.

With more than 5 years of experience as a teacher, I have taught over 500 students from all around the world. I consider myself empathetic, patient, and creative: I work hard to make each class dynamic, practical, and tailored to your needs. I treat my students the way I would like to be treated, and my goal is for you to learn, gain confidence, and leave every class feeling that you have made progress.

My lessons are adapted and personalized for all levels. We can focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing comprehension, listening comprehension, practicing everyday situations, as well as preparation for official exams such as the DELE. At the end of each class, I send exercises so you can practice what you’ve learned, and between classes I’m always available to answer your questions and provide extra support, so you never feel alone in the process.

Outside of teaching, I’m a tattoo artist and I also make hip hop music: I write my own lyrics and perform them. I’m passionate about art and creativity in general—literature, drawing, and everything related to self-expression. I also really enjoy sports, especially football. I’m a lover of nature, physics, science, and astronomy, and I love meeting new people.

We´ve had five lessons. He has outperformed teachers from Cervantes. He has a mentality of a teacher, which is something innate. He unravels higher concepts with ease, He doesn´t allow your mistakes to pass without correcting them, as other teachers have done. So I'm learning much from him.
