Hi! I’m Ron, a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan and a certified Chinese teacher with four years of teaching experience. I majored in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language and have taught both at a primary school in Taiwan and online with students from diverse backgrounds.

Ron is such a great Mandarin tutor! I tried learning Mandarin on my own in the past and never really felt like it clicked. But Ron really helps me understand the logic of what's going on. And she always comes up with fun and engaging ways to test my understand. The way she quizzes me after each topic is so helpful. Also, she always brings a positive attitude to each lesson and is super encouraging. I've been having lots of fun learning a very difficult language while studying with her.

Love learning with Ron, she really adapted to my needs and creates customised slides for me as I'm in between levels and am on a limited timeline to learn mandarin. She's really fun and engaging to talk to and she explains concepts very clearly

I have been learning Mandarin with Ron 老师 for several months and I appreciate her preparation before each lesson and patience. My Chinese character recognition and listening skill have improved significantly since I first began which gives me more confidence to speak Mandarin, even with the occasional correction on my pronunciation. Highly recommended!
