About me

Hi there! I'm Kathryn. I'm excited to start learning with you! A little about me: I'm a native English speaker, I'm from the U.S., and I've been teaching English for over a year and a half. I'm certified by The International TEFL Academy to teach English as a Second Language. I finished college in 2023, and I've been teaching English ever since.

When I'm not teaching, I love to travel, read, and learn other languages. I love anything that has to do with learning and languages. And I love meeting new students and helping them learn as much as possible.

My classes are conversation-based with lessons on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I encourage a friendly atmosphere in my classes, and I use error correction, as I find these things to be the most effective.

As for my experience, I have a year and a half of teaching experience, and I’m TEFL-certified. I finished my bachelor's degree in 2023. I received my teaching certification shortly after, and I have been teaching ever since.

If you are most interested in conversational, everyday, casual speaking, we can definitely focus on that. If you want to improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc, I am always happy to help.

Kathryn is a very likeable person, she is passionate and highly motivated. Her lessons are varied in topics, systematically build up and attuned on the student needs. Her pronunciation is well understandable, furthermore she is always fully concentrated on the student´s pronunciation and grammar. She has levelled up my speaking skills in quite short time and I absolutely enjoy our lessons.
