Ciao! I'm a visual artist from Sardinia, Italy. I'm passionate about languages, nature and culture. I lived for many years in London and I'd love to help you learn Italian in an informal and fun way using English as our support language.

Through the years I have informally taught Italian to many people both in person and video chat. My approach depends on the student requirements.

Nicola is a great tutor who really listens and provides great lessons that can be casual or structured (or both). His lessons are enriched with learning Italian through idioms, expressions, or other vocabulary that is super useful, but also placed into context. I highly recommend Nicola for all levels of learning, you won't regret it!

I’ve been taking lessons weekly since October and after a two week break for the holidays, I was back tonight and what an amazing experience. Nico had picked up on what I was going to be doing and had prepared a lesson that took in my love of Black and White photography, introducing me to Italian photography, which I hadn’t seen before. His lessons make me want to be more immersed in the culture and art of Italy and it’s no longer just about the language and I’ve been trying to read Italian authors. He makes it so much fun and gives a real love of learning, he’s a very instinctive tutor and no matter what age you are I’m sure he can help you and you will enjoy the process. I would highly recommend him. The longer I am learning with Nico the better it is, he knows what I need to learn but always in a fun way I know so much more about Italian culture and I am learning new things every week. He always knows what I need to do and works towards it, sometimes without me even realising it and always in a fun way.

The lessons with Nicola are a lot of fun. He chooses topics that interest me and adjusts completely to my language level. I find it particularly exciting that I can talk to him about art, painting, and Sardinia.
