Hello! I'm an international Chinese teacher with a CTCSOL certification. I teach a range of courses including Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese courses like HSK and YCT, and I have a variety of teaching materials available, along with supplementary reading resources.

My native language is Mandarin, and I'm skilled in Simplified Chinese Pinyin and Traditional Chinese Zhuyin. I'm originally from Taiwan, but I've spent the last 12 years living in Shanghai. Currently, I'm splitting my time between Shanghai and Boston for personal reasons.

As for my educational background, I earned my bachelor's degree in Taiwan and completed my MBA in the United States. Calligraphy is one of my hobbies; I've been practicing it since I was a child, and I enjoy creating calligraphic art pieces in my free time. If you're interested in calligraphy and Chinese culture, we can share and exchange ideas!

I offer lessons in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese, as well as Chinese for primary and secondary school students and business Chinese. My current students include international students studying in China, primary and secondary school students, and professionals already in the workforce.

Lin is very patient with my kids. It’s not easy when kids mood is not always ready to do class especially online and Lin took the time to work thru my daughters tears and keep class going. Shes been wonderful helping my two kids review homework that I’m unable to help with.

The class was fun and productive. Lin is approachable and nice. I look forward to further learning. I am learning whit Lin more than one year and she learned me a lot. She improved my pronunciation and taught me a lot of new words and grammar rules. Most importantly, not a single lesson seemed boring or tiring to me. On the contrary, every lesson was very fun and productive. I am very grateful and happy that I managed to find such an excellent teacher. Lin is an amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable teacher to work with. She is very flexible and easy to work with. I'm very grateful that she is also very happy to help tutor me through homework or material from the textbook from my in person Chinese classes, and faithfully corrects my pronunciation and grammar issues and has helped me improve quite a lot in the weeks working with her. She knows both the Taiwanese and mainland Chinese way of things which is adding so much to the material. I'm very happy to be working with her!!!
