Hello there! I am Jan from Finland and I would love to help you with your Swedish.

Focus is on speaking and writing for adults of all ages. Swedish for Business or Pleasure? YKI preparations or not?

Regardless of ambition, I am at your disposal for a few or several lesson. The amount is totally up to you.

I am ready to talk about society, business, sports and any other topic you find interesting.

I have been teaching entrepreneurship and management at a business school for over 20 years but nowadays I also help people who wants to learn or improve their Swedish.

My typical clients are foreigners in Finland or Finnish-speaking persons who wants to learn better Swedish. Have had more than twenty clients through different platforms so far.

Face-to-face or on-line, both works for me!

We focus on learning the language but it should be fun too! Your target may be small talk in Swedish or total fluency, it does not matter. We will find a way to meet your learning targets. So, give it a try and we see if we have a joint Swedish adventure in front of us!

Jan is an excellent Swedish tutor that provided me with the learning content geared towards passing the YKI test, which I did on my first attempt. He’s really good at explaining things, and he has a native Finn-Swede accent which is much easier to understand and follow compared the Sweden Swedish accent. Heavily recommended!

Highly recommended! Felt comfortable speaking Swedish with Jan and he was supportive and patient when I was trying to remember correct words myself. Jan also asked my preferences and adapted to changes. I took 4 hours intensive learning in one week to prepare for a new job.
