I'm from Taichung, Taiwan, and I enjoy writing, reading, watching movies, traveling, learning languages, and gaining new knowledge. However, your interests are what matter most! Any topic you're interested in can become our class material!

Jiawen is an amazing teacher. I've taken lessons from her for about a year. She takes copious notes on convinient slides for me to use after lessons. She is very patient and engaging. She is also very accomodating to my skills, goals, and personal needs. If you're looking for a relaxed, low pressure teacher to help you improve your Chinese through conversation or someone to help through your classwork, then look no further!

I've been attending classes with Jiawen for a month, and I really enjoy my classes with her! I think it's easy to chat with her, and she always has some material prepared to help guide the conversation and introduce new words/concepts. I don't feel nervous about making mistakes, and she does a good job of providing corrections without interrupting the flow of the class. Overall, I'm happy and will continue to attend classes!

I'm amazed at how quickly she figured out my current level of understanding and then started to build off of it, truly a very skilled teacher. She focused on topics that I was interested in and vocabulary that I would use. She is very encouraging and kind, her lessons are the highlight of my week.
