Hello,

My name is Nagihan, and I am 23 years old from Turkey. I have completed my degree in English Language Teaching, and I also studied Modern Greek Language, which has given me a strong background in language learning and teaching methodologies.

I specialize in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. My lessons are student-centered and focus on developing all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I design my courses according to learners’ levels, goals, and learning styles, using communicative and practical teaching methods.

I gained international experience through a volunteering project in Poland, where I worked in educational and administrative settings. During this time, I organized and led speaking clubs, language-focused workshops, and communication activities, which further strengthened my classroom management and instructional skills.

In addition to teaching, I am also a singer as a hobby. This allows me to support my students with pronunciation, intonation, and speaking confidence, which are essential parts of learning Turkish effectively.

I have four years of teaching experience with high school students and one year of experience working with adult learners, specializing in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Additionally, I continue to develop myself professionally through advanced language and methodology courses, which has increased my interest in applying the GML (Growing Participator / Guided Meaningful Learning) method to teaching Turkish effectively.

I strongly believe that motivation is a key factor in successful language learning. In my Turkish lessons, I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Turkish without fear of making mistakes.

I motivate my students by setting clear and achievable goals, tracking their progress, and providing regular, constructive feedback. Lessons are designed to be interactive, practical, and relevant to real-life situations, especially for adult and professional learners who need Turkish for daily communication or work-related purposes.

I also adapt my teaching methods to each learner’s interests, learning style, and professional goals, ensuring sustained motivation and continuous improvement.
