I was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan 🎡
I studied English literature and Japanese teaching at uni 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇯🇵
Also, worked at offices, shops and hotels in Japan and overseas! 👩🏻💻
Now I have been teaching Japanese for more than 4 years ✨

Risa-san really helps my confidence in speaking Japanese. I am learning new words, new phrases, and actually having conversations in Japanese. At the same time, I am learning so much more about Japanese culture. Update: It is great, I feel like I am learning so much. I totally recommend Risa; it is fun and educational.Jasmine

After a great many more lessons I can definitively say: りさ先生はとてもすごいです！She has consistently taught me new things every lesson, while also reinforcing my knowledge of grammatical concepts I already know as well as vocabulary. Learning with Risa has also been immensely reassuring as I will be moving to Japan later this year and her lessons have increased my confidence and speaking ability to the point where I feel a lot less scared about the move! Overall she's mindful of your goals and is very adaptable and willing to change pace to suit you. 100% reccomended!Kieran
