More than 25 years of experience means that I've worked with English language learners of varied ages and all levels. Today I specialize in helping learners to improve and learn naturally with specific tools and techniques that I have learnt and developed throughout my career, not only as a teacher but also as a learner. Like you, I have had the pleasure of learning a new language, several times. Because I have been immersed in this process for so many years, I have a different perspective on aspects of learning, such as grammar, pronunciation, accent reduction, rhythm and intonation and how we assimilate all of these things. This has opened my perception of the learning process and allowed me to understand better what YOU are going through and what your needs are.

My approach to teaching involves diagnosing problem areas through conversation and proposing specific tools and techniques along with support to naturally and effectively overcome those challenges and improve continually.

I have developed stratified techniques from Beginner to Advanced presentation and Speech delivery through years of coaching presentations and giving talks, speeches, presentations and lectures.

Through years of working with interview preparation, I have also outlined specific techniques and strategies to prepare for and deliver impact in job interviews.

Although I am from the United States, I have lived abroad for more than half of my life. I've also had the pleasure of teaching various subjects from the US high school curriculum, which means that along with my varied work experience and hobbies, I have a wide range of knowlege which allows me to hold interesting and productive conversations about almost anything.

My passion for learning is equaled by my desire to share what I have learnt to help people from all over the world. That means YOU!

As a result of my extensive experience, you'll find my approach is significantly different from the great majority of tutors. Each person is unique and, as such, it is impossible to apply a strict methodology to everyone. That has developed my ability to assess each person's current status with regard to the language itself and their stage and means of development. From that point on, I introduce tools to assist, enhance and accelerate the natural learning process. Building a set of tools and techniues that each person can use to continually improve and evolve their English is the primary focus of each session.
