Hello, everyone! My name is Daniel 🥰 Welcome!

Full time Korean teacher with over 1000 lessons taught!

Lived in Korea for 3 years.

Studied Korean for over 10 years.

Professional working experience using Korean. Tutoring, customer service, translation work, and tour guide.

After trying several other tutors, connecting with Daniel has by far been the best decision I’ve made on my journey to learning the Korean language. He is always fully prepared and has the skill of taking complex topics and simplifying them into easier and more digestible parts. He is patient, creates a laid back safe environment for you to make mistakes as you read/speak aloud, challenges you to apply the concepts being taught in that moment, all-the-while encouraging you as you inevitably stumble. He is a natural teacher. Each session is content rich and you realize the amount you’ve covered and learned by the time the session ends. He makes learning the language enjoyable as his passion for people and the language shines through. What sets him apart, however, from other tutors I’ve experienced is that he understands what it’s like to start from scratch. Being a native English speaker and fluent in Korean, he is able to keenly translate the cultural sentiments and nuances of both languages, which I find offers a robust learning experience. I’d highly recommended him to anyone.

Korean is a hard language to learn. He is very patient and I appreciate that he learned to speak it and I think he understands the challenges in learning this language.

Daniel is by far the best tutor I have worked with! He does a great job of breaking down difficult grammar concepts into ways that are easy for English speakers to understand. I cannot recommend Daniel enough!

Daniel has taught my eight-year-old son Korean for over a year. My wife is Korean so we wanted him to get a foundation in the language. Daniel has been amazing, designing lessons that keep my son entertained and engaged while teaching him how to speak, read, and write Korean. Daniel has been the perfect tutor for us. I can’t say enough nice things about his professionalism and skill level.

Great detailed lessons that he tailors based on how you are learning the concepts. Heavy emphasis on pronunciation and understanding of the grammar so you can understand how to form your own sentences easily.
