Pavel I.

Greetings and glad to meet you. My name is Pavel, and I was born in the South of Russia in the city of Krasnodar. I'm currently living abroad, because Russia is not a safe country to live in, and I don't support the regime there.

I really enjoy my job, because I love teaching, meeting new people and communicating. I love learning about new cultures, sharing life experience with others and learning new aspects of different languages.

Russian is a beautiful and rewarding language. I'm eager to help all who are interested in Russian: whether it be those with a cultural interest, those who have a Russian spouse or family member, or those who are learning Russian for fun.

I have been teaching since 2017, and my teaching style is based on the Communicative Approach. This approach is the most relatable to me because the main objective of learning a language is to communicate. The Communicate Approach emphasizes 4 skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. These skills are essential for acquiring the language and achieving the language proficiency you desire. My lessons are interesting and memorable, and I select materials according to the level of each student.

Please note that I don't teach children or teenagers younger than 16 years old. Thank you.

In lessons, we go through textbook exercises, and we can also discuss topics in a more conversation style, depending on the lesson format you prefer.
