About me
Hello, I'm Hümeyra from Eskişehir. I am a TOMER-certified tutor specializing in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and have over eight years of professional experience.
I work with a diverse range of clients, each with different needs and interests. For instance, I focus on specific Turkish language skills with journalists, PhD students, aspiring interpreters, and publishers. On the other hand, with business professionals, relationship partners wanting to improve their communication, or individuals planning to visit Turkey soon and wishing to learn the basics, we concentrate on practical, everyday Turkish.
During our initial meeting, we will discuss your requirements and interests to customize your lessons. We will periodically review and adjust the content based on your feedback and progress.
I am proficient in English, so we can communicate in English until you feel comfortable expressing yourself in Turkish. However, we will gradually reduce the use of English to improve your Turkish skills.

Hümeyra is a brilliant teacher. Her teaching style is well structured and adapted to the student's level and needs. She is focused, engaging and super friendly. Hümeyra is wonderful! Kind, funny, SO patient, and really listens to my questions and helps keep me from getting too frustrated. I am already speaking better than I did two weeks ago when I started with Hümeyra. I am updating this a few months after I began and Hümeyra is just the best. I look forward to every lesson and hate when I have to miss them. I am learning a great deal and also having fun. Hümeyra is sweet, thoughtful, and an excellent teacher who really pays attention to her students' needs and lives.Dina

This course is designed to teach the Turkish alphabet, basic word patterns, vocabulary, and simplified Turkish grammar.
Conversational Turkish
This course aims to enhance practical communication skills by using everyday life events as examples. We can create simple, intermediate, and advanced sentences and practice speaking with family and friends.
Intensive Turkish
In this program, you will study all aspects of language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Additionally, you can learn Turkish grammar and practice it. The intensive Turkish program focuses on developing all language skills at the same time.
