About me
Hi, my name is Vince, and my interests are painting, reading, and spending time with my Labrador retriever outdoors. My first job was as an officer in the U.S. Army after college. After my military service, I was an account executive in the healthcare field before my career in ESL began in 1996.
I have twenty-nine years of teaching experience at language institutes, secondary schools, and universities in South Korea, Thailand, Ecuador, United States, and Saudi Arabia. I have a TESOL Diploma from London Teacher Training College, and a Professional Educator’s Certificate from the State of Florida, Dept. of Education. I use a Learner-centered Approach when teaching ESL, and I often employ a Functional Approach with respect to content or curriculum. I am also an expert in TOEFL Test Preparation.
