Hola! My name is Giovanni and I am from Mexico (with a neutral accent from the central part of the country) and I want to help you improve your Spanish.

I like music, movies and traveling. I like to share recommendations with my students.

I tailor my lessons to your needs. I offer different kind of lessons according to your needs but we can mix them.

From beginners to advanced, from grammar to everyday speech. All what you need to improve your fluency in relaxed and trusting atmosphere.

I like to focus on practical Spanish using phrases that native speakers use. I also take care of your grammar, but we can focus on what you need.

During lessons I like to teach different ways to say something from formal to everyday vocabulary depending on your interests and how to use them in the right situations.

I have 3 years of teaching experience.

I have taught students from different fields such as medical area, social services, customer service and students that just want to be able to communicate with native speakers in everyday situations or in their travels.

Gio es el mejor instructor. A menudo compartimos chismecitos sobre celebridades y influencers y políticos. Current (August 14, 2025): I've been working with Gio for 3 years. Depending on my schedule, I typically take 3-5 classes a week. Our classes are immersive in nature and we focus on conversation. I appreciate how kind and patient he is. He gently corrects me when I misspeak and offers prompts when my mind goes blank. Gio gives great advice on how to improve comprehension and speaking. I highly recommend him. Previous (December 23, 2022): I enjoy working with Gio. He is extremely helpful and tailors the sessions to my needs. I regularly speak with my Chilango friends in Mexico via WhatsApp and often get stuck with phrases and slang. Half of my conversations with friends seemed to be "Que significa...." Gio has helped me communicate more clearly with them. They are also native Spanish speakers and have remarked that my Spanish has improved since I visited them in November. I highly recommend Gio. Gio is very patient and his lessons are very enjoyable. he is very attentive and always answers my messages quickly. i really like how gio teaches spanish language that is used in your every day life. i have learned alot from Gio and plan on continuing my lessons with him.

Giovanni is an amazing tutor. He is patient and gives helpful and positive feedback. He also tailors the lessons to what I want to achieve, which is basic conversational Spanish for Mexico and some insights into customs and culture there. I can highly recommend Giovanni as a tutor. His teaching style is very human and I always look forward to my lessons.

Gio is the best teacher I could ask for! In the beginning I was very nervous and shy to speak Spanish, in just a month I have gotten much better and have even been able to have conversations with my family in El Salvador. He makes the lessons fun and focuses on topics that are meaningful to you. He is very attentive and always replies quickly when I reach out. I am very thankful to him and plan to continue until fluent!
