About me
Hello! I’m Orsi. Originally I’m a certified English and lower-primary school teacher with long - long years of experience. Since 2020 I also teach Hungarian as a foreign language.
I love traveling and meeting new people, other cultures. I’m also passionate about showing my country and culture.
So, it’s a pleasure for me to become an online tutor and share my beautiful language by teaching Hungarian for all ages and on all levels.
I have 5 years of experience in teaching Hungarian online. During these years I helped a lot of students on their journey from the basics to reaching their personal goals in Hungarian.
I build my lessons according to my students’ interests and needs. As a native I can help you either if you’re a beginner or on more advanced levels.

Just the right mix of techniques to make learning a language interesting. She gives a lot of useful vocabulary beyond what’s in the textbook that is applicable to everyday life. The explanations of sentence structure are great. Just technical enough to understand thoroughly but not so much that it’s boring. I also enjoy the cultural and historical explanation of certain words and phrases.Mary

After 5 lessons, I feel confident that Orsolya will continue to help me to learn the basics and begin to understand and speak with my Hungarian family. She is very patient and kind and I also like learning details about Hungarian culture from her. She provided me resources to practice between our lessons.

Hungarian for beginners
I've been helping a great number of learners even from the very basics. I prefer to build a strong base structure, that helps to understand the milestones and logic of Hungarian by which students can gain more and more confidence in using the language.

As a native speaker I can help to build confidence in different topics in all levels.I like to keep the conversation flowing and enjoyable and return to the correction later, if it's needed.

I have experience in preparing students for different language exams.I've been helping for students in preparing for the simplified naturalization, or foreign medical students preparing for their first year Hungarian exams.
Hungarian for Children
Over my long years as a lower primary school teacher I have a lot of experience with children.I've been helping for Hungarian families living abroad to keep up with the Hungarian lower primary subjects, learning and keep practising reading and writing and prepare for the end of the year grading exams in their Hungarian schools.I've been also helping foreign children learning Hungarian from the early ages. I like to use traditional Hungarian rhymes and folk songs, role plays and lots of games, just to keep language learning a natural process, rather playing and having fun. Later we can move to fairy tales and short stories and according to the age and development of the child, we can gradually start reading and writing as well.
